Most handmade shops are a business first. This one started as a way to cope.

Jess is a working paramedic. The quilting began as a way to steady herself after hard shifts, and it grew into something that could help other people in the same position. Every piece is made by one person, by hand, between shifts.

The other difference is where the money goes. Proceeds support mental health and rehabilitation resources for first responders and military personnel across Canada.
